PDA parenting may feel like uncharted terrain

Some days you’re navigating rocky cliffs, other days you’re lost in deep fog - never quite sure what terrain is coming next. There is no map. No tour guide. No clear path forward. It’s truly an experiential process unique to each child, parent, and family system.

PDA is an invisible and dynamic disability. What works one day may not work the next. The landscape shifts constantly, and you are expected to adapt in real time.

Meanwhile, your Child’s nervous system relies so heavily on your nervous system for co-regulation, you’re operating at an intensity far beyond the average parent. It’s not just exhaustion - it’s an all encompassing demand most people will never see, let alone understand.

This is not about “conformity.”

It’s about finding support, direction, and strategies that fit this journey - your journey.

PDA Parent Consults are gentle one-to-one spaces created to help you pause, breathe, and find steadier ground - with insight, care, and grounded support rooted in lived experience.

Whether you are brand new to this path or have been walking in it for years, these sessions are an invitation to come as you are - and to be met with compassion, clarity, and calm.
